A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio – Cuyahoga Valley Photo Society Program – September 15, 2011

If you live in northeast Ohio and enjoy photography, you should consider joining the Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society (CVPS), which meets at 7:00 pm on the (usually) third Thursday of each month at the Happy Days Visitor Center on Rte. 303, about a mile west of the Rte. 8 expressway. Each month CVPS offers an evening program by a local or visiting photographer, and professional nature photographer Jim Roetzel leads several informal photo walks during the year, a great opportunity to get to know other photography enthusiasts and pick up some tips on nature and wildlife photography. CVPS also sponsors a weekend photography workshop each spring and fall, led by nationally known professional nature photographers, and a photography competition is held each year. There are many other benefits and activities, including opportunities to have your photographs selected for publication in brochures and exhibits about Cuyahoga Valley National Park. For more information about CVPS, visit their website at www.cvps.org

Next Thursday, September 15 at 7:00 pm at Happy Days,  I will be conducting a 1-hour program for CVPS on my new book, A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase after the program.

  1. I will be comming to the Sept 15th program…and will purchase a copy of your book.
It will be my birthday present to myself as an opportunity to pursue one of my joys beyond my career of teaching -= that of exploring and sharing, via photography, a vareity of views of reality.
