A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio – Sam Wharram Nature Club, Ashtabula – March 18, 2017

The Sam Wharram Nature Club, which meets at the Ashtabula branch of Kent State University, is hosting my presentation, A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio, at 7:30 pm on Saturday, March 18.

The two volumes of A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio include more than 500 pages of text and 350 color photographs, with information on almost 300 of Ohio’s most scenic vistas, waterfalls, natural areas and preserves, scenic rivers and byways, zoos and public gardens, historic barns and bridges, rural areas, holiday lighting displays, historic buildings and murals. The 6×9-inch guides include tips for photographing each subject, and provide the first detailed guides to landscape photography ever produced for the Buckeye State. Each book includes regional maps, GPS coordinates for all the locations, and a comprehensive index. Signed copies of both books will be available at the presentation, at a discounted price of $25 for each volume. Signed copies of my new book, Ohio in Photographs: A Portrait of the Buckeye State, will also be available at a discounted price of $30.

The Ashtabula branch of Kent State University is located at 3300 Lake Road W, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
