Would you like to know how to find and photograph Ohio’s best scenic vistas, natural areas, public gardens, historic barns and bridges, rural areas, landmark buildings and town murals. These topics are explored in detail in my latest book, A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio, and are the focus of an intensive, weekend photography workshop that will be held on May 11-12 at The Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio.

Are you familiar with Photoshop, Lightroom, and other image-editing software and know how to use them to fine-tune your digital photos? And do you know how to use email, slide programs, color inkjet prints, websites, and even self-published books to share your best images with family, friends, and clients? We will explore these and many other digital photography topics on Sunday during the workshop.

  1. I took a weekend workshop with Ian in Maine and it was fantastic! He packed a huge amount of info in, yet it was fun and interesting. He is a wonderful teacher as well as a master photographer.
