Case Western Reserve University is hosting my slide program, A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio on Friday, July 19 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at their Landmark Centre Building in Beachwood.

The two volumes of A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio include more than 500 pages of text and 350 color photographs, with information on 300 of Ohio’s most scenic vistas, waterfalls, natural areas and preserves, scenic rivers and byways, zoos and public gardens, historic barns and bridges, rural areas, holiday lighting displays, historic buildings and murals. The 6×9-inch guides include tips for photographing each subject, and provide the first detailed guides to landscape photography covering the Buckeye State. Each book includes regional maps, GPS coordinates for all the locations, and a comprehensive index. Signed copies of both books will be available at the presentation, at a discounted price of $25 for each volume. Signed copies of my book, Ohio in Photographs: A Portrait of the Buckeye State, and my new book, This Place of Silence: Ohio’s Cemeteries & Burial Grounds, will also be available.
