Flowering shrubs and trees will provide wonderful photographic opportunities at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario, where I will be conducting an evening slide presentation on Friday, September 30 followed by a two-day fall photography workshop on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2. The slide program will provide a photo tour of fall at botanical gardens across the United States, as well as scenic fall photographs from the Midwest, New England, and West Virginia. The workshop will focus on a variety of fall subjects, including tips for photographing fall color, mushrooms, and late season butterflies and dragonflies. An afternoon photo shoot and a review/critique of participants’ photographs will be included in the workshop, as well as guidelines for using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to fine-tune your fall photographs.
