Ohio’s Natural Areas & Preserves – Slide Program at Mentor Public Library, Monday, November 7, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Although most of Ohio’s landscape has been developed since pre-settlement times, an amazing variety of natural areas and preserves remain in the Buckeye State. These places include one million acres of forests, 75 state parks, 140 state nature preserves, 117 state wildlife areas, and dozens of city and county parks and privately owned natural areas. I have been privileged to visit and explore many of these places during the past three decades, and more than 100 are described in my two books, A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio, Volumes 1 and 2. I will be at the Mentor Public Library on Monday, November 7, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm, giving a photo tour of the best of Ohio’s natural areas and preserves and signing copies of my books,  A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio, Volumes 1 and 2.

Mentor Public Library is located at 8215 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, OH 44060. Phone No: (440)-855-8811, ext. 214 or email Traci Hoffman: traci.hoffman@mentorpl.org.
