Join us on Saturday, June 2, from 2-4 pm, for a late spring photography walk at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, Ohio. Bring your iPhone, Android smartphone, or favorite digital camera as we stroll Stan Hywet’s beautiful gardens in search of peonies, lupines, irises, flowering shrubs, and wildflowers.

I’ve been privileged to photograph the gardens at Stan Hywet for more than twenty years, and I’ll share some of my favorite locations for capturing the beauty of spring in the formal gardens, woodlands, and meadows of this national historic treasure.

Anyone can take snapshots with a smartphone, but to take your photography to the next level requires a knowledge of lighting and composition in landscape and garden photography, as well as how to control exposure, sharpness, and depth-of-field, using your smartphone’s built-in features as well as a variety of apps which provide additional capabilities. Bring along your questions on landscape and nature photography to share during our photo walk.

You will also receive a 50% discount on my new eBook, iPhone Landscape & Nature Photography, which will be available as a download from my website by early summer.
