Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC) was formed in 2006 by a merger of eight Ohio land trusts, and to date WRLC has preserved more than 50,000 acres of natural areas and family farms in 18 northeast Ohio counties. Earlier this year, I was honored with an invitation to exhibit a selection of color prints of my Ohio photographs at WRLC’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Moreland Hills, near the Chagrin River.

The print exhibit will include 20-25 Epson Ultrachrome color prints of Ohio landscapes from my books, A Photographer’s Guide to Ohio – Volumes 1 and 2, and trees, from my slide program Trees: A Photographic Celebration. Several of my favorite tree poems will accompany the tree prints.

Western Reserve Land Conservancy’s headquarters is located at 3850 Chagrin River Road, Moreland Hills, Ohio 44022. Tel: (440)-528-4150. The exhibit is open to the public during working hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. An opening reception will be held on October 17, from 5-7 pm.

These prints celebrate the beauty and variety of the natural and rural areas of the Buckeye State, and Western Reserve Land Conservancy is one of the most successful organizations working to preserve Ohio’s natural and rural heritage.
