Join us on Saturday, April 29, from 2-4 pm, for an iPhone Photography Walk to celebrate the arrival of spring at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, Ohio. Bring your iPhone, Android smartphone, or favorite digital camera as we stroll Stan Hywet’s beautiful gardens in search of daffodils, tulips, flowering shrubs, and wildflowers.

I’ve been privileged to photograph the gardens at Stan Hywet for more than twenty years, and I’ll share some of my favorite locations for capturing the beauty of spring in the formal gardens, woodlands, and meadows of this national historic treasure.

Anyone can take snapshots with a smartphone, but to take your iPhone photography to a higher level requires a knowledge of lighting and composition in landscape and garden photography, as well as how to control exposure, sharpness, and depth-of-field, using the iPhone’s built-in features as well as a variety of apps which provide additional capabilities.

Participants will also receive a discount on my new eBook, iPhone Landscape & Nature Photography, which is nearing completion and will be available as a download from my website by early summer.
