There are still a few places available on our 2-hour Fall Photography Walk at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens on Sunday, October 25, from 2-4 pm.

Sugar maple, tulip poplar, tupelo, ash, birch and other trees provide a tapestry of fall color photography opportunities in the gardens at Stan Hywet. During twenty years of photographic exploration I’ve gained an intimate knowledge of the gardens at Stan Hywet, and I will share some of these special places during our afternoon photo shoot.

Tree hydrangeas and other flowering shrubs provide a feast of fall color throughout the gardens.

Look closely, and you will discover a wealth of picturesque vignettes and hidden corners in Stan Hywet’s gardens, like this ivy-covered window with reflections of Japanese maple foliage on the West Terrace of the Manor House (above) and a tree reflected in the Lagoon (below).

During the photo walk, I will share information on some of the new camera features of the latest iPhone smartphones, plus tips on how to elevate your fall photos from snapshots to elegant, well lit, artistically composed photographs.
